Raleigh Sports Bicycle Wow! Excellent Condition. Raleigh Sports 3 speed This bike is in excellent condition considering its age. Chrome looks almost brand new. Comes with original Brooks leather saddle.

Its got some scuffs on it but I don't see any major tears anywhere. Comes with all the"R" nuts on the cotter pins wheels and seat post also comes with the original tires which have the Raleigh name on them. The tires might need to be changed but its up to you they seem to me in pretty good shape to me. The bike had some rust on the rims an on the left hand crank arm and around the bars but I got most of it off with some oil and some steel wool but you can still see a little pitting where it scraped off but not When i got it came with an old odometer on it that said miles.

I think it will last hundreds more considering the shape it is in. I lubed up the chain and the hub and it purs like a kitten very quiet. It might need the bottom bracket reconditioned with some new grease but it performs fine as is. The brakes might need some tuning as well. The paint in some areas has been singed a little due to the extreme heat it endured while being in storage in south Florida.

There also other imperfections as well but nothing major. Please observe the picks closely and ask any questions about the condition before bidding. I have added a photobucket as well. This bike is about 40 years old so this is a rare find and a good addition to any collection.
