Three partners with regulatory, loan and project finance expertise have joined Mayer Brown in London, with one due to move to the Tokyo office next year. All currently based in London, Musonda Kapotwe and Andy Kolacki have joined the banking and finance practice in London, while Myles Mantle is a member of the project finance practice. Mantle will move to Tokyo in , where he previously worked on and off for more than a decade.

An experienced practitioner in project development and finance for energy, infrastructure, petrochemical and manufacturing operations in emerging markets, his clients have included trading houses, investors, operators, lenders and export credit agencies. He has spent the last two-and-a-half years with Haynes and Boone , following nearly four years with Jones Day , both in London. That included an in-house secondment to a Japanese bank. Kapotwe has spent the last 14 years working in-house in the banking sector, with nearly 12 years at Citi in the markets legal division, and most recently with Barclays Investment Bank as an adviser on regulatory policy in the United Kingdom and European Union.
