Washington gallery penarth wales

I have a passion for black and white photography and like to create a romantic and haunting atmosphere within my work, which is inspired by classic black and white films of the early 20th century. My work has been described as displaying a unique filmesque style combining simple structural elements of bright highlights and deep shadows which takes the viewer on a visual journey into an ethereal world….

I have exhibited internationally as well as having been published worldwide in both print and digital media.

My exhibitions and work in public collections are listed at the bottom of this page. Donats, Vale of Glamorgan.

A skilled projectionist named Larry operated the box through out the 60s. The Washington was indeed a very luxurious cinema. It was well carpeted, the drapes and masking were operated from the box and it contained a lift between the balcony and the foyer.
