It didn't take long to see how things changed. I seen 5 different GM's come and go. I enjoyed the crew was warm, friendly, and out going.

Cons Long days, short brakes if any. They pick favorites, they do not give you the hours they said they would, they do not take care of issues you have with nasty coworkers, they stalk your social media.

Only one 30 min break, no paid Pros Nothing. Cons Breaks, pay, hours. Stores are basically run by the shift leads and employees. Pros employee meals. Cons Overworked, Pay, Management.

I was a back-up cook for 9 month's. In the beginning it was the best place to work cause the manager's that were there before were respectful, helpful, and actually acknowledge your hard work. Once they were gone the manager's after were rude, lazy and all they did was talked down on you. When there's busy night's none of the newer manager's would ask if you need any help before it got busy, but they loved rushing you when there's a lot customer's.

They also take forever to tell you they need certain meat or food. Mainly it isn't the back-up fault when the food in the front sham, or the hot case runs out. They never let us know ahead of time. Being a back is the most stressful job, cause there's only one backup for a shift so it's a lot of thing's to do with so little help. The manager's doesn't care though cause they really don't do much. The only thing the manager's do is stay in the front and talk.

The only reason why they take customer's orders is cause there isn't enough hour's for them to have worker's in the morning. There are some employees there that are nice. I wished that the manager were like the employees, then working there would've been fun. If you decide to work at Boston Market I wouldn't advise you to become a back-up.

They'll over work you and have you work in the front like you applied for the server or cashier position while also having to do your actual job which was back-up. So if you're in the middle of prepping they'll have you stop what you're doing and help them in the front.
